Financial Aid
Various financial aid opportunities are available including interest-free loan deferrals, Federal Student Loan Programs and other loan opportunities. Additionally, many employers provide full or partial tuition reimbursement to their employees who participate in the Program. For financial aid purposes, students may be considered full-time when taking 6 or more graduate credit hours per session. For further information contact the Wesleyan Financial Aid Office at (304) 473-8080.
How to Apply for Financial Aid
File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We highly recommend that you file the FAFSA online www.fafsa.ed.gov. You and one parent are required to secure Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) at www.pin.ed.gov. If you prefer to file a paper FAFSA, contact the Wesleyan Financial Aid Office at 800-343-2374. West Virginia Wesleyan College’s School Code number is 003830. In order to maximize all of your Financial Aid options we strongly recommend that all students file the FAFSA by February 15. The information you submit on the FAFSA determines your eligibility for the Federal Pell Grant, Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant, state grants, federal loan programs, work-study and many Wesleyan scholarship and grant programs.
